Ayan Hassan, MSW, LGSW

Associate Therapist

I believe that you are the expert of your own life, and I approach therapy with that perspective at the center of my work. My style is warm, supportive, and collaborative, and I strive to create a space where you feel safe, heard, and respected.

Many of the clients I work with are navigating stress, anxiety, life transitions, or feeling stuck and unsure of how to move forward. I have experience working with children, teens, and young adults, and I tailor my approach to meet each client where they are developmentally and emotionally.

I also have a strong background in working with children with autism and supporting families navigating the unique challenges that can come with an autism diagnosis. I am passionate about helping families build understanding, strengthen communication, and access the support they need to thrive.

As a Somali American clinician, I am deeply committed to bridging the gap in access to culturally responsive mental health services within my community. I understand the importance of culturally affirming care and strive to create a space where clients feel understood, respected, and supported in their lived experiences.

In our work together, I encourage you to guide the conversation so that your experiences, strengths, and goals shape the direction of therapy. Using a client-centered approach, we will work to build insight, strengthen resilience, and create meaningful, lasting change.

My goal is to support you in gaining clarity, developing practical tools, and moving toward a life that feels more balanced and aligned. I am committed to providing a compassionate, nonjudgmental environment where you can show up as your authentic self and feel supported every step of the way.
